Thoth-Ace of Disks

Santa Muerte- Ace of Pentacles

Kether and the Four Aces.

Besides being the energy that manifests as the Aces in the Material Words, Kether, is ....and that is about all that can be realized. It is the Breath of all that is not. It is the Dark Fire/Dark Energy that is unlimited and unseen yet is the Source of Energy from the Infinite unmanifested One. It is the Pusher of all the Universe, a Motion within all Movement. It is the all-seeing, observer, the "I" (All seeing Eye) who only observes. All that is comes from there, all that is returns to there. Only to cycle again. Kether is unexplainable, yet it is and in the Ace of Swords, Kether is depicted as the Crown, the Primary symbol of Kether, The other symbols attributed to Kether are the Point and the Swastika. Thus Kether is often displayed as a white circle with a dark point in the center, which is also the symbol for the Sun.

As with all the Sephiroth, Kether must be approached intellectually just to form an intuitive concept of the Source. For instance, we say that Kether is the point and as a symbol that is true, but the Point is not Kether. Just as Divine Creative built us in its own image, is true, but the Image is not The Whole of the Divine Creative.

We are establishing some principles with symbols; the first principle symbol is the crown, usually the Diamond Crown, for diamonds are symbols for the "Purest light". We may think because of our anthropomorphic perspective that this Force of Motion lies somewhere in our head, as a spacial as yet unawake part of our brain; however, this is not the case.

The Crown represents the Holy Guiding Spirit, the crowning glory that we all aspire to even though it is a Force our brain is subordinate to. In the Modern Myth, created in Marvelous Color by  George Lucas and known as the Star Wars series of movies and books; The Force has been described as the personal Aspiration of all Jedi. Jedi which seems to be a word cross of Magi, Djinn and genius. Genius being a personal spirit guide or angel of Ancient Rome. The ancient Egyptians called the Three Magi, the Three Stars in Orion's belt that pointed to Osiris's star Sothis (Sirius), which "rose in the East". These belt stars were still called the Magi in the middle ages (See the Woman's Encyclopedia of Myths and Secrets- by Barbara G. Walker. Page 565). The Word Djinn is Arabian, and originally referred to Ancestor souls. Later becoming "trickster Spirits".

Interesting and we have a new word for Ancestor Souls whose power comes from the Three Sephiroth that make the Supernal Triangle, with Kether as the Crown, i.e. The Force.

All myth aside, Kether is the Crown from which all creation springs...as is observation in our mundane world. Observation, begins creation, thus the Point -*-is a symbol for the Source of All and or the "I".

The Point*, is complete unto itself with neither dimensions nor external definition. This would be called a "Singularity" in Quantum Physics or The Seed from which the galaxies have grown. The Big Bang, the outward expression of this Seed that has been caused by a Force called Will, are shown as the Sephiroth on the Qabalistic Tree of Life. Each Sephiroth, is a crystallization of the latent aspects of Kether. Kether is known in Hebrew as Eheieh-Meaning- I Will Be! Existence, is therefore, known as I AM. Eheieh, is likened to the sound of breath. Because all Work begins and ends with Kether, all ritualistic, or meditative work must begin with the invocation of the Highest Will (I AM). This idea of I AM alone, causes subtle changes and activity on the Invisible Dark Energy. Something we really can't see, but may imagine. The Dark Sea of The Universal Collective Unconscious, begins as I AM, which guides and directs us toward our Higher Self when we begin to imagine the " I AM the Light above" and/or the Psyche that we call the Sun/Son of the Divine Creative, which is known as the 6th Sephiroth-Tiphareth-Beauty. Our individual "I AM" begins in Tiphareth.

To the Qabalist, Consciousness guides, motivates, transforms and even translates the Energy of the Divine Unconscious but does not create that energy, nor can it destroy it. Again Imagination is the Womb of all Idea/Ideal, but Kether is before Imagination. The "I AM Being" (us), is not the same as "I Will Be", for one is individual and idealize, while the latter is without idea...the ideas of being came later in the conception of Time and/or Measurement, another latent aspect of Kether as the 4th Sephiroth- Chesed-Mercy. The Will becomes three crystallized aspects. The I Will Be, Kether, becomes Will to Force- Chokmah and Will to Form- Binah, then I AM Being, which comes from the invisible Sephiroth/womb of Knowledge that is Daath. This Sephiroth is the birth canal of information/Knowledge. In this Universe, information becomes in-form-action.

Therefore the Number One is attributed to Kether, as 1, the ace, which is the seed of all numbers, by simple addition. 1+1=2 and 2+1=3, etc. All seeming very simple until we begin to meditate on simple numbers and simple geometry. The symbol 1 could be pure 1 which is indivisible, so what do we really know? Symbols such as numbers, are themselves not what they represent. Thus Kether is the Will of Energy.......but we really don't know what that energy is, nor the Will that drives it into being.

However, we do know that Kether is not static, for the "First Swirlings" of manifestation are in Assiah, the Qabalistic Material World. That is why the symbol of the Swirling Swastika, which rotates around a point, a Buddhist symbol- is another symbol for Kether. It seemed the Military Industrial Empire of the Nazi's had high ideas for their perversions and have taken an ancient symbol for the "First Swirlings" that cause manifestation. "The few who rule the many" control definition and/or  indoctrinated propaganda, changed the meaning of the symbol to suit their vision of self-importance but that doesn't change the original meaning of the symbol. Nor the fact that the Industrial Military Empire, is now called the Patriarchy, and is the master of propaganda using media, which it also controls.

"As above, so below”, in essence states that the 10th Sephiroth of Malkuth, the Physical/Material world, is equally as Holy as the Source. Hence the I AM and its Images, are undivided and inseparable. Our concepts of separation are just basically denial of our wholeness and errant belief that separateness makes us special. Much like the City Person who insists that farmers are "redneck" hicks, a form of lower life than themselves; even though their whole life is dependent on the good harvest work of the Farmer. Such people are indeed in denial. Much like a parasite, thinking it is more important than the host; such is believing that we are separate from each other. In truth, the City man depends on the rural man and vise versa; it is indeed time to expand our perspectives and "above all things, know thyself".

Finally, we must come to understand that Kether as Source of All is a quality unknown to us, but which we can symbolize to some extent. Thus when an Ace appears in a reading, it implies great power that is beyond our perceptions. The Essence of a Thing, the idea of seed.

The 4 Aces are the Root Force of the Alchemical Four elements. The Ace of Disks is the Root Force behind physical manifestation that governs the motion within the movement of Matter.

Represents the influence of Kether, "The First Swirling" in matter or the World of Assiah, as Qabalists call it. It is a card of materiality, but not necessarily good or evil, nor is it necessarily wealth.

Both the Thoth and Santa Muerte cards are shown in the Green of Spring, new growth, and the Aeon of Isis, the mother of Form who is normally shown as Emerald green, but in the Ace of Disks the Aeon is shown in spring green after the Resurrection of Osiris as Horus; Horus being the New Aeon and the "Sun/Son" .

The Wings on the Thoth Ace of Disks, represent the 4 Archangels whose powers balance each other and create stability through the Four Elements. The six wings also represent the number of the Sun and the implied union of Earth and Sun hat creates the living organic organism that is the living earth.

As we know atoms to swirl, and planets to revolve, we know that matter is a swirling motion and not a static one at all. Thus the card implies swirls and movement within a stable image or as Zoroaster Stated, “rebounding, whirling forth, crying aloud." Implying swirling frequencies of energy that cause motion and/or microwaves.

The according to Crowley the Greek words for “to the mark the beast" appear in the center of this cardand/or the "the Serpent Gate". To Meta Ohpion, is not really the proper grammar usage of the
Greek. However:

Jan 20, 2016 · The core reference of the phrase is the serpent Ophion of Greek mythology, who was held to have ruled the world in the beginning alongside the goddess Eurynome, before being overthrown by Chronos, Rhea, and the Titans (who were later, in their turn, overthrown by Zeus and the Olympians).

The number 666 also shows in this card, this all shows the Earth to be the world of the Animal, as its highest form. The God-Mind (Hu-Manas=human) has changed this by expanding the mammalian predator by Genetic Manipulation of “fallen Angels” ("those who from the sky came"-Anunnaki) and the Animal DNA of earth/Organic matter. Thus the human body is a G.M.O, for the purpose of advanced evolutionary work; The Great Work, which is to bring the above and the below into perfect union. Thus the Beast is seen by some as a lowly thing, whereas God has seen the Beast/Organic Matter or Ouroboros, to be worthy of Angelic status. I don't presume to question The Divine Creative in this, I just exalt in my inheritance. Doing my best to be the connection between the "As above, so below".

According to Crowley, the central Hieroglyph is that of "the chosen priest and apostle of infinite space," (The Husband),"The prince-priest the Beast"< [Liber Al. I.15.]. Thus, the Phallus is shown as the central symbol of this card, as that is the symbol of Tetragrammaton-YHVH- ("rebounding, whirling forth, crying aloud,") again showing the Sol (Phallus) Luna (Yoni) union of the invisible and reflected light and/or the spontaneous creation of female and male. Crowley took this card as his personal Hieroglyph, so deep study is required to understand his deep and subtle meanings implied by this card. Purchasing his books and reading them a few times, is this author’s suggestion.

The advice of the dead: Totally enjoy what you have earned and deserve. Everything proceeds well but don't forget to look at things beyond material concerns.

The Santa Muerte -Ace of Pentacles uses the traditional tarot term of Pentacles instead of the Thoth term of Disks, to describe the material energy and/or the concrete and material world where our body and soul can experience things through senses. Therefore, more than any other suit, Pentacles represent the tangible on the material plane from out body to economic resources, announcing success, profit, and health. As all minor arcana, this card is objective and therefore, and active principle that operates on all the tangible aspects of physical existence, usually bring triumph and happiness. If ill defined, it degenerates into avidness, the inability for moderation, and if take to the extreme, abuse of power.
