The Tarot of Eli- Minor Arcana: Starman Tarot- 6 of Pentacles & Thoth Tarot- 6 of Disks- Success

Western Qabalistic Tarot Card Comparisons.

I have more than enough.

The Starman 6 of Pentacles, and the Thoth 6 of Disks, are both about success in the material world. But more about trust than already successful. There are times when the "hounds are howling at the door", when in business, nothing happens, and the bills pill high, the wife divorces you, while the clients seem to have been whisked away by the hot winds of failure. One's brain screams at the empty coffers, the heart is broken and the bank won't let you use the credit cards while the incessant wringing of the phone as bill collectors abuse the phone lines and use their specific scare tactics. You are dead broke and fear eats at you, "Nobody loves me, "Where am I going to get food, let alone stay in business!" yells the fear besotted brain as fearful darkness throughs its gloomy shadow over the shining of the Sun/Soul. Feeling assaulted from all sides, I surrender to the fear, knowing that tomorrow I'll close the doors and claim bankruptcy. That night I slunk to my bed in a mood of dark gloom...oh yes this has happened to me!

Since my head was full of drama, only in my dreams could the Muse, The Creatrix, come to me and say, " Your presence is enough. Bring my people back to me.", while she appeared all dressed in blue and white, with silver light shining around her, and she was holding out her hands, one with a silver moon cup running over with what looked to be milk and one full of golden honeycomb, dripping honey. I realized that I forgot to follow my heart, which loved the Power of Presence that culture and indoctrination of the Patriarch, the slave master, has robbed from the mental coffers of the individual; her people. In our hearts, is the land of milk and honey, but one must walk through the shadow lands, trust held high, to get there.

I awoke in the morning, with a recently baptised brain, free of worry and concern. I just started writing a blog on the Qabalistic Metaphysics of Tarot and practiced what I preached. Also that day a Psychic fair presenter emailed me to participate as a reader at their fair. The blog was offer free, because I will not charge for knowledge that comes from our Source. It's ours to behold and become. However, the fair, paid well, and I was very busy. That kept the dogs at bay, and the food in the fridge. After a week of the blog, I got a few donations for my time, but most of all I got clients and students. Now I can pay banks, and creditors again. Hell, I am not a billionaire, nor even a "many thousands-aire", but I am comfortable as my roof don't leak and food is on the table, plus I trust the Lady of Abundance, and the Spirit that I AM. No longer do I worry, no matter the bill pile. I find that there are times when you must follow your heart, mine has always been dedicated to the Matriarch, and her wonderful yet exasperating people the Homo Sapiens Sapiens. I just forgot to be grateful for what I had, and step away from the bounty of I AM ME. The howling hounds, are now gentle pets as I have become Present, standing in my glory as the Trinity that I AM as Me.

As the Spirit, Mind and Body, composite that we are, the body often forgets there is a high power on board, called the Spirit. The mind becomes entangled in the woes of the body and is so attentive to a solution to the crying one, that it forgets that it knows more and sees more than the defeated fleshy one. To listen to the Spirit, one must quiet the brain and the mind. For our imagination is running on nightmares whose drumming feet "cry havoc" and sound loudly in our inner ear.

Imagination (I Magi Nation) is the Magic Mind of Intuition. Our greatest power, that must be focused on heart felt creativity. Once the body feels that warm heartfelt passion to Create, the brain will quiet down and supply the required measurements of time to get it all done. The Heart belongs to the Creatrix, it is her honeymoon suite, where the married anima (spirit-Female) and the animus (Male Soul) reside. Now intuition is may major mental state while its servant, the rational brain, sets about doing the proper measurements to fill with her creations. We are She and He, not just the sex of our bodies. Our bodies do not produce our identity, we are Spiritual Sun's , androgyny of the One Great Divine Creative. i.e., Souls. The number of the Sun in Qabalah is 6 and represents "The Sun/Son of Goddess".

There are times when we must trust the Divine within us. Even though meger, our resources must be channeled in the right heartfelt direction to become fruitful and fertile. "Let go and let goddess", has been my chant from now on. She knows seeds, plants, and fruitfulness, as she invented them. Wealth is ours, and Prosperity is how we share the wealth. I have found that I charge as little as possible for my services, and give more than ever is paid for, not because I am such a great person, but because I won't let a starving personality leave hungry; they will eat their fill, no matter how long the dinning, when they come to my door. Many of us are starving from the lack of Spiritual flow. We are Spirit's creation, to be one with, and provide the action of intimacy with creation. "Above all things, know thyself", whispers the soul within the quiet halls of Trust. Besides, I am selfish and I love to watch the Shining Goddess dance in the reflection of their "I's". Everything I do is now devoted to the Trinity of Spirit, Mind and Body and see beauty everywhere I look. I think that is a clue to the opening of the 6th Sephiroth-Beauty, that is the central Sephiroth of the Christ-Buddha consciousness on the Qabalistic Tree of Life. As her Sun/Son, I see the Divine in the smallest creation. Her art, astounds me. What is a wonder is that we are her art touching itself. For she is intimacy, and through the Homo Sapiens Sapiens, she can touch, smell, feel, hear, and kiss her children. I know now to follow the path that has heart.

The Art of this Starman card, shows the Person's power, as tha Tiger Faced being-Their Powerful Soul, that is fruitful, and rooted into the material world. Serpentine force, (frequency-vibration) the creative dynamic of the Energy, swirls around both Soul and Body. While there are golden coins showering down on the delightfully dressed person, whose shadow is upside down representing standing the darkness on its head. Here one is listening to their Golden Dream, that flows from the Goddess as her golden child, while the darkness of fear and worry are no longer listen to. The Person is Present, as Spirit, Mind and Body. The American Native Teepee in the background represents freedom.

As always, the 6's are about a balance of trinities which makes them powerful and stable in dynamic movement.

The Thoth card represents physical attainment, accomplishment and success. This is the harmonious energy of Earth, the balance of polarities have made fruitful the Son, Father, and Grandfather aspects of electric force and the Maid, Mother, and Crone aspects of magnetic force...Creation is born! It is important to remember that this is earth, and gravitational forces will pull this successful creation down into itself, where everything becomes slow and heavy. Therefore, this success is temporary but enjoyable just the same. There is a great beauty here that comes from the balances of mental, emotional, and physical energy enhanced by the higher conscious states of Self. Being Beauty---feels great! Beauty is not determined by fashion, nor culture, this is the Beauty that created me so it could be me! The great inner beauty of dimensional synchronicity.

Generosity is shown here, as you now have enough success in physical health, finances, and emotional balance to assist others in their success. Astrologically, this card is Moon in Taurus, which suggests productivity (Taurus) and a deep inner satisfaction (The Moon) or a deep desire on the unconscious level. The foundation of creation vibrates from the deep passion and desire of Will-to-Be and the deep satisfaction of I AM! This being so, often to achieve success in any endeavor means that we must be in union with our inner master who built us as its masterpiece. There is only diligence and doing indicated here. This is where the axiom," Above all things know thyself" really comes into its own.

The formula for success is indicated in the six planetary circles shown on this card:

1. Saturn represents success through discipline.

2. Jupiter reminds us that success is achieve by being open and flexible to options that may present themselves.

3. Venus reminds us of our beautiful heart and follow what has heartfelt meaning in our life.

4. The Moon indicates success attainable through following the truth of ourselves, by being authentic.

5. Mercury reminds us about how important organized well timed communication is important to success.

6. Mars reminds us to express continually steady energy into our professional or personal issues in order to achieve success...The Tortoise vs the Hare scenario, where rapid spurts of energy do not achieve success whereas steady on does. Success comes from deep within rather than the superficial without, which is symbolize in this card as the joining of the Western Cross (deep inner self integration) and the opening and blooming of successful achievement ( the Eastern symbol of success- the lotus). However, 6 is not only a number of accomplishment, but also that of Christ, Buddha consciousness. Thus a certain sacrifice is made for the Number of the "Dying gods", means a definite personality deconstruction in order for reconstruction that brings success. We are Hu Man, God-Mind, and therefore, the "Dying gods" who reincarnate successful information as Self.

The 6 of Disks-Success, is aptly named The Lord of Success, as the Moon is exalted in Taurus. Here the charm, subtleties, ebb and flow of the Moon are merging with the hard work and deliberate earth qualities of Taurus, ensuring success in business and other earthly matters.

The colors on the Thoth Card, are somewhat muted in this rendition; However, the center glows in dawn's light of rose-madder, surrounded by 3 concentric circles of golden yellow, salmon-pink and amber. Suggesting Tiphareth fully realized on earth. The usual arrangement of the Planets, as disks, are being irradiated by the Sun at the center. Again, Tiphareth is the Sun/Son and is here, idolized as the Rose and Cross. This is a 49 petaled Rose, implying the interplay of the 7 (Venus) with the 7 (The Star)...The Feminine 7 is never separate from the Masculine-6, it is their interplay that makes Life.

When thrown during a reading, the 6 of Disks/Pentacles implies:

· Material attainment and accomplishment, but with a caveat dealt out by the law of Karma; you'll have to put out effort, to receive back success.

· The successful cycle of income or security is steady and predictable.

· That the querent is also generous, sharing the wealth, giving people what they are willing to receive.

· The 6 of Disks/Pentacles also suggests that money owed will be paid and the querent shall receive what is rightfully theirs.

· That in the next 6 weeks or 6 months, you have the opportunity for success if you follow the formula for success as represented by the six planets presented in this card.

· That in the next 6 weeks or months, you will experience being successful in producing something deeply satisfying and important to you.

· That success is only temporary moment of repose and we must be flexible to new heartfelt options to keep on succeeding in our life motion.

If ill defined-Thoth or reversed-Starman:

  • Dissipation.
  • You take more than you give.
  • Misdirected resources.
  • Encouraging dependency over provider.
