dreams of Gaia tarot- VI of Fire

The Dreams of Gaia Tarot- 6 of Fire represents a time of healing achieved by meditation, negotiation, or arbitration. Now is the end of conflict due to communication and diplomacy. In every life a conflict of egos, or a dispute erupts after boundaries are crossed, hurting feelings may arrive . However, if communication remains open and both parties are willing, the conflict can be resolved. Then there are those conflicts or disputes when both parties are unwilling or unable to communicate resolution, and the middle ground is not found. Therefore, if they must continue to work or be apart of each other's lives, a mediator is required to negotiate or arbitrate a truce.

The are always 2 sides to an argument, and there are times when both parties can be right and times when both can be wrong. What we call a "point of view", relates to the fact that each person sees their own reality and often the realities of 2 people are at odds, especially when one or both insist theirs is the only reality. Our world view depends so much upon the individual experiences in life, the cultural indoctrination, the dogma of a theology, and/or traditions, that many people live in a different mental and emotional world. Sometimes mediation is required for the argumentative parties to accept this concept and the simple act of acceptance can lead to a blending of realities that is acceptable to both parties. This "blending" is often done when both parties are allowed to "air their grievances" and present their point of view and come to a mediation on their own.

Then there are times when arbitration is required, as either party isn't willing to make concessions or allowances for the rights or feelings of the other. In such a situation, the arbitrator must determine who is right , based on the laws of the land. Conciliation is advised here, even if an easy resolution isn't available at this time. Although often hard to achieve when emotions are high, an open mind and a willingness to meet the other party halfway will serve everyone one well. This is shown as the illustration of the 6 of Fire card, as the arbitrator is shown as the "lord of the Forest", holding up a peace cup and a gesturing a ruling hand of peace and blessing, between 2 opponents. At the base of the card, is a "Dandelion" a healing herb whose sunny disposition and roots, dried and made into a tea, is a proven immune system booster. The young leaves of this sunny plant, also make a healthful salad.

The Dreams of Gaia 6 of Fire, may also represent a pending legal conflict, where rules or laws are broken and resulting harm has been done to another. In such a situation, the court of law will decide the right and wrong as justice will be served. In order to not prejudice the opinion of the Judge and/or magistrate, you must keep your emotions under control and present a "poker face" while keeping your facts straight. Judges or Magistrates are human, so your bearing and attitude will definitely influence the ruling. Knowing the facts about your rights and responsibilities will also influence the ruling. Immoderate behavior and ignorance will definitely place one at a disadvantage. Also righteous outrage may work in the media, but is rarely effective in a court of law.

When the 6 of Fire is thrown during a divination, it implies:

  • Resolution is needed.
  • Communication and diplomacy required.
  • Be willing to make concessions.
  • Let go of bias.
  • Be open minded.
  • There are 2 sides to every disagreement.
  • Know the facts.
  • Understand your rights.
  • Don't be stubborn.

In the world of quarreling and Strife, Yetzirah, strife brings success. While, in Assiah, the world of business, and commerce among men, this means material success.

The 6 OF WANDS, is the Lord of Victory. Here Jupiter is in Leo, and the Angels of the Decan are: Nelokhiel and Yeyayel.

In the 6 of Wands we have the benevolence of Jupiter in the Fiery Sign of Leo (Sun) which brings success and warm relationships. However, it is an aspect that suggest some drama and of victory after great effort.

This Crowley/Harris card, shows the Wands of the 3 Adepts (of Golden Dawn ritual) crossed in a perfect balance of power. As each Adept must go through initiations involving varying degrees of Strife, this card of Wands, suggests victory after strife.

It is to be noted, that the upright Flames, lantern like at each crossing, are in a number of 9; the number of Yesod and the Moon. This shows energy stabilization of the Energy, and its reception and reflection by the Feminine Magnetic Principle. There is no circle around it, because it is self-supporting like the Sun.

When the 6 of Wands is thrown during a reading the Querent:

  • Is assured of victory, but victory only comes after a struggle so don't celebrate prematurely.
  • There is implied a short lived victory with all blockages overcome but by trusting the Stability of the Higher Self, the Victory is long lasting.
  • Confidence and belief in yourself are the necessary tools here and it looks like they have been achieved with some major breakthrough in insight and creativity happening in the next 6 days or weeks.
  • The querent is showing secure knowledge of self-identity and displays self confidence in leadership abilities.
  • There is in the querent a purposeful sense of direction and purpose.
  • Joy.
  • Optimism.
  • Sunny disposition.

If ill defined by the surrounding cards:

  • Presumption.
  • Excess of emotion.
  • Personality cult.
