The 8th Sephiroth, -Hod (splendor) represents the 8 of Wands and the planet Mercury (known as the Sphere of Mercury), in the Sign/House of Archer Sagittarius, where the element of Fire is stable and eminently comfortable. The planet Mercury keeps Hod's low unbalance position on the Tree of Life stable. Therefore, Hod's instability doesn't even put a blemish on this fast and intense activity. This over-stimulation of energy coupling of the "Above and Below", shown as electric arrows, going in multiple directions, both in the above Pyramid and the below "Reflection", portends too much, too fast. Therefore, this illustration expounds on the meaning of swiftness and rapidity; a lot of energy, going nowhere and everywhere all at once. It also helps one realize that the Macrocosmic Energy (Above) is "reflected" as the Microcosm Electromagnetic Energy (Below).

For the aspirant, truth seeking requires us to walk an initiatory path and listen to our revelatory dreams. This wisdom will flow through our subconscious like a muse, inspiring us directly from the Sphere of Creation and/the Formative World. This depiction of wands/Vitality also reminds us it is time to get off our butt and go-go! It's time for action, you've got things to do, places to go, things to create, and people to see! Here you must focus your passionate will to achieve a goal.

The term "Homo sapiens sapiens" is a taxonomic classification used in the field of anthropology and biology to categorize modern humans. It's a subspecies designation within the broader species "Homo sapiens."

The classification "Homo sapiens sapiens" is a way of expressing the human form for several reasons:

  1. Taxonomy: In biological classification, species are often further divided into subspecies to account for regional or distinct variations within a species. "Homo sapiens sapiens" is used to distinguish modern humans from earlier hominin species and to indicate the subspecies of humans that exist today.

  2. Scientific Precision: The use of this classification helps scientists and anthropologists precisely define and study the anatomical and genetic characteristics that distinguish modern humans from other hominin species and even from archaic humans like Neanderthals.

  3. Historical Context: The term "Homo sapiens sapiens" underscores the idea that modern humans are the latest and most advanced stage of the Homo sapiens species. This highlights the evolutionary journey that has led to the development of our species as we know it today. (Totally discounting the possibility that we have degenerated so much over time because of theocracy, and its dogma enforced "dark age" that we are just "catching up" to our advance civilizations of the distant past.)

  4. Cultural and Intellectual Identity: Beyond its scientific utility, the term is sometimes used in a cultural and intellectual context to emphasize the cognitive and behavioral capabilities that set modern humans apart, such as our advanced language, complex social structures, and cultural achievements which all mimic the Ancient advanced civilization of Sumer.

In summary, "Homo sapiens sapiens" is a taxonomic classification that serves to precisely define and distinguish modern humans within the broader framework of the Homo sapiens species. It reflects our current understanding of human evolution and the unique characteristics that define our species.

However, on this card of Vitality, the Electric Arrows represent the vital and powerful multifrequency energy field that surrounds the human body. This celestial field of Solar Life Force is our Real Self, which powers the body in its name of "I AM". For we are Spirits of Photon Celestial evolutionary self that operates a human form and/or Coagulated energy form in a realm we do not come from. We are not a human seeking spirit. Hence, we are totally alien to the realms of coagulated light/matter and we must learn how to operate a human form for the purpose of sensual experience; and the intimate experience necessary to turn light carried data into Knowledge. This energy field holds our frequencies (colors)and vitality of our presence. Through practices of Tantra Yoga, Western Hermetic Qabalah, Spiritual Alchemy, Toa, Zen, Tarot, and many other mentally and spiritual practices, we can begin channeling the total power of our own Sun that radiates our presence.

In the metaphysical and esoteric traditions, the human aura and/or "Rainbow people" is often associated with seven layers or bodies, each corresponding to different aspects of consciousness. While there might be variations in the interpretation of colors, here's a general overview:

  1. Etheric Body: This is the closest to the physical body and is often seen as a pale blue or violet color. It is connected to the root chakra.

  2. Pranic Body: Associated with life force energy, the pranic body is often seen as a bright, vibrant blue. It is linked to the sacral chakra.

  3. Astral Body: This body is connected to emotions and is often depicted in various colors depending on the individual's emotional state. It is associated with the solar plexus chakra.

  4. Mental Body: Linked to thoughts and intellect, the mental body is often seen as a yellow or golden color. It is connected to the heart chakra.

  5. Causal Body: Associated with higher spiritual experiences and the expression of divine will, the causal body is often seen as a blend of different colors. It is connected to the throat chakra.

  6. Superconscious Body: This body is linked to higher states of consciousness and spiritual awareness. It is often depicted as a deep purple or indigo color. It is associated with the third eye chakra.

  7. Divine or Godself Body (Super-conscious): This is the highest layer, representing the connection to the divine. It is often depicted as white or pure golden light and is associated with the crown chakra.

Keep in mind that interpretations of aura colors may vary among practitioners and individuals. It's essential to trust your intuition and personal experiences when exploring the colors and energies associated with each layer of the aura.

Thoth- 8 of wands-swiftness

The fiery colors of the Thoth card, invoke the visual sense and concept of Fire as the element of this card, and we know that fire is the Vital Life Force, Spirit and/or "Sex energy" created by coupling and/or communication. Sexual/ vigorous/fertile energy is the Swift and vital energy that is used to create and achieve imaginings, goals and/or living beings. This vital sexual-spiral energy is shown in the Thoth Deck 8 of Wands, Swiftness, as phallic electric arrows. These arrows of microwaves are all coming from the center of the "as above, so below" diamond shape. That midway point of the diamond is the Soul, your identity, which is the solar bridge between the Greater and Lesser Universe, and it is sending information carrying energy in all directions to its Avatar, the body on earth, but the scattering of energy is because a focus of communication has not been reached yet due to indoctrinated interference.

broken image

The brain must be tuned to the proper frequency (Solar radio station) to pick up these transmissions. However, if one is tuned to the "Group Station" of their cultural indoctrination and dogma, they will not receive or can't pick out these transmissions from their mental clutter, as they are not on the Individual Spiritual Channel of I AM. That is why many people meditate and scry, to tune the brain to its proper intuitive channel of the Divine Creative and thereby, the Soul's meditation on them is felt and understood.

However, these electric arrows from above the Pyramid shape of energy also sustain and constitute the Material World of the below pyramid shape (2 pyramids, one primary, one reflected, joined at the base), representing the subtle energy of the Fiery Father, bringing down from the 2nd Sephiroth- Chokmah (wisdom) the message of the Original Will of "I Will Be". As stated, The Diamond shape is also a symbol of the Western Metaphysical axiom of "As above, so below".

The 8 of Wands illustrates the geometrical pattern of the restored Universe that is constantly restored by this Electric Fire/electromagnetic spectrum. The rainbow above the double pyramid within the Universal Cube of the 8 of Wands, depicts the division of pure light into seven color rays of the light spectrum that exhibit interplay and correlation of the electromagnetic spectrum. We are visualizing the energy of high velocity and light speed. Here light is shown as electric energy, because of the principles of Hod, (making concrete that which is subjective), has created intelligible geometrical form. Crowley states that: "This card, therefore, represents energy of high velocity, such as furnishes the master-key (e=mc²) to modern mathematics and physics."[Book of Thoth, p. 193]

The One Trinity Goddess), has often been portrayed as the One Energy that cannot be created, nor destroyed, only transformed and I might say, Transmitted. That One Energy is the carrier of information, just as light is carrying this blog to your screen. Hence, One Energy=One Mind. That One Mind casts a self- reflection as our Psyche/Soul. The Universe is a Great Fractal of I AM. The Soul is the "Sun/Son (non-gender) of Goddess/God, and therefore, the reflection of "Will-to-Form" (3rd Sephiroth-Binah), impregnated by "Will-to-Force", the 2nd Sephiroth-Chokmah.

To get an idea of this "energy going in all directions": Picture this, we have two overly excited people, hook on diet pills and drinking pot after pot of coffee, simultaneously expounding to each other, on the day's events, sharing much disjointed information, until they both pass out from exhaustion. Upon awakening in the morning, neither one remembers much, if anything at all, about the information of the night's "mad hatter" coffee klatch.

broken image

Such is the energy depicted in the 8 of Wands Swiftness. A lot of fast-moving energy going everywhere at once, and extraordinarily little being accumulated in one place. This is the difference between a light bulb and a laser. The former is scattering electromagnetic energy everywhere, making a weak light; the latter is totally focused on one point, giving it tremendous penetrating power. Therefore, the 8 of Wands often implies the need to intellectually focus so that you can get things done.

The Astromatrix Tarot-8 of Wands

Rider-Waite-Smith 8 of Wands

The Astromatrix Tarot-8 of Wands concentrates its image on spontaneous action and/or extreme movement. Again, the Astromatrix 8 of Wands is much like the Rider-Waite-Smith 8 of Wands card and is laid out for more of a mundane reading or divination. On a blue sky turning into yellow and blue birds flying and with a lush landscape background there is displayed 8 leaf sprouting wands, as if suspended or falling. Again, the phallic force of Mercury is shown in the shape of the wands (blue birds are also considered "messengers"), and the swift movement of growth is shown in the sprouting twigs and leaves.

Obviously, Waite's dictation of this card is still holding to his oath of secrecy, didn't spend great effort in designing this card, and it is simplicity itself. Since, the wands are flying accompanied by blue birds, swift energy can be determined from this image. Hence, a swift outcome to the issue of divination is implied. However, this could also represent one who is charging forward and expanding their horizons, in a rapid manner. Often such swift movement causes one to not observe much around them as they are often "target fixated", which has its own issues.

broken image

This Target Fixation is very necessary for magical creations, and often very successful meditational ventures. However, in daily life one must keep a sense of where they are in order to avoid catastrophes. Therefore, the caveat here is to be fixated on your goals in a place of meditation and magick, but be aware of those around you when in the outside world. To be so intensely focused on your goals when among others, is to become so unsociable you will alienate all your acquaintances. This often will not aid you when you fail to see the opportunities around you.

In various cultural and symbolic traditions, birds, including blue birds, often carry symbolic meanings. The concept of the "language of birds" is a metaphorical or mystical idea referring to the idea that birds, with their songs and behaviors, convey hidden messages or spiritual insights. Regarding blue birds, they are often associated with positive symbolism:

  1. Happiness and Joy: Blue birds are frequently seen as symbols of happiness, joy, and positive transformation. Their vibrant and beautiful plumage is linked to uplifting emotions.

  2. Spiritual Significance: In some spiritual traditions, blue birds are considered messengers from the spiritual realm. They may be seen as a sign that spiritual growth or enlightenment is on the horizon.

  3. Hope and Optimism: The color blue is often associated with the sky and the vast expanse, symbolizing hope and optimism. Blue birds may bring messages of hope and encouragement.

  4. Communication and Expression: Birds, in general, are associated with communication, and blue birds, with their striking color, may symbolize clear and effective communication or self-expression.

  5. Freedom and Transformation: The ability of birds to soar through the skies is symbolic of freedom and transformation. Blue birds may represent the freedom to pursue one's goals and the transformative power of positive change.

It's important to note that the specific symbolism of blue birds can vary across different cultures and belief systems. The interpretation may also depend on personal experiences and cultural contexts.

When the 8 of Wands or 8 of Sticks, is thrown during a reading, it implies:

  • Flexibility.
  • Expansion, Intellectual power.
  • Haste, swift acceleration meaning that the querent's ideas will very soon be in Physical existence and/or easily expressed in words.
  • This indicates a high energy period in which to initiate change, as in, a fast movement for spiritual growth.
  • Time to put on Mercury's winged sandals and move rapidly along the lightning Path towards Greater Self Awareness.
  • A rapid descent of power to examine self-identity, and thus expand its perspectives.
  • An expedient creating of possibilities.
  • Definite swift progress towards a worthy goal.

If ill defined by the surrounding cards, it implies:

  • Vehemence.
  • Hastiness.
  • Superficiality.
  • Scattered energy.
