Thoth-10 of Disks-Wealth
10 of Disks-Wealth:
Prosperity, wealth, success in the world of finances and physical health are all covered here because the 10 of Disks card is the sum total of the other 35 minor arcana and therefore, wealth is a synchronicity of mind, body and soul. This card indicates that by using your communication skills (Mercury symbols on top three coins) and linking them with your healing abilities (the caduceus on the bottom coin) while listening to your inspiration (the star coins) you will be able to manifest abundance (the three Hebrew symbols for abundance coins-bottom center).
The Astrological sign for this card is Mercury in Virgo. Mercury is the representative planet for communication and organizational skills. Virgo is the sign of prosperity and abundance manifested in a tangible way.
The 10 of Disks card indicates that all 10 of your aspects of Self (The 10 Sephiroth of the Tree of Life) contribute to a balanced flow of healing, communication, and organizational skills all accumulating to active function on the physical plane. Your Spirit-Mind and Body are manifesting abundance. Obviously this is a card of prosperity and also obviously, it will change, but for now eat, drink and be merry. We should also understand that Wealth becomes prosperity when we spend it as our wealth prospers others and thus ourselves. Spending wealth is a form of communication.
To reiterate, MALKUTH is Earth that is also called the Active Word and/or Assiah.
It is the lone Sephiroth of this World. In the other Worlds of the Qabalistic Tree of Life, there are 3 Sephiroth composing a Triangle, but Assiah/Malkuth stands alone, for it is the completion of all the other States of Energy Conscious. It is the only fully sensual activity, of Creation. Now this may seem otherwise to the Initiate who sensually experiences the "Inner Worlds" of the Tree of Life, as they often forget, that they are still "attached" to a sensual body, and thus feel the unconscious experiences. But to travel, the other Sephirotic realms without a physical body is to feel nothing at all! There is only One Sense to the I AM, and that is the sense of "I" sight, and all the "Five Senses" (actually it is stated that there are 33) of the mundane body, are just transformations of that One Sense of "I". To those who practice the Mysteries, there are considerably more senses "felt" than five...as many as 33*, but that is not for this blog to describe, so if you are interested in a greater Wealth of Sensuality....start your journey up the Tree while you still support a physical body and click on link:https://www.sciculture.ac.uk/2014/06/12/not-5-but-33-senses/
*Our everyday understanding of perception is that we see, touch, smell, taste and hear. As such, we often describe our thoughts and emotions in terms of five distinct senses. Until recently, these senses have been studied and described both by philosophers and scientists in isolation.
Modern cognitive neuroscience is challenging this understanding: instead of five we might count up to 33 senses, served by dedicated receptors. Instead of simplifying how we experience flavour merely into taste, research suggests at least two separate ways in which flavour information is sensed. Touch can be pleasant, painful, thermal or pressure related; with separate sensory fibres and pathways for each aspect of how we feel through our skin. Similarly, how we “see” can be broken down into colour and contrast vision, or neural pathways that deal with the nature of the object or where that object is in space.
Studying isolated senses is misleading: everyday, real world experiences such as watching a film or eating a meal involve several different senses working together.
At the cinema, the sounds seem to originate from the lips of actors, even though we known they come from distant loudspeakers.
Flavour is a rich example of sensory interaction: what we call the “taste” of food largely comes from smell rather than taste buds. A loss of smell will greatly affect one’s eating experience. Flavour experiences are also affected by colour, spatial arrangements and even sounds. These effects demonstrate that multisensory interactions are the rule rather than the exception.
The science of perception is advancing quickly through psychological experiments and through brain imaging techniques including in individuals with sensory or cognitive deficits. We need a new theoretical framework to host the explosion of scientific results: philosophical thinking is needed to relate brain processes, behaviour and subjective experience. Specifically, it is essential that together we create language and a framework to describe the way in which sensory information is combined to create a rich and unified experience. The multisensory nature of perception will be understood only though philosophers and cognitive neuroscientists working together to re-evaluate how the senses work together.
The AHRC Rethinking the Senses: Uniting the Neuroscience and Philosophy of perception project integrates philosophical and scientific studies of multisensory perception. Philosophers and scientists are working together to consider existing scientific evidence within a philosophical framework, with the specific intention of raising critical questions which can then be tested through experiments. This will provide the vital philosophical input to the development of a cognitive neuroscientific account of the senses (5 or 33 senses), of non-sensory influences on perception (e.g. experiencing an artwork as a social group) and of the underpinning of conscious perceptual experience.
The impact of the research is far reaching and extends beyond the academic sphere.
Our work thus far includes collaborative projects with museums (e.g. The Tate), artists (e.g. Patrick Hughes, Shelley James), charitable organisations (e.g. Fifth Sense) and companies (e.g. British Summer Fruits Association). We have identified specific ways in which the experience of the flavour of strawberries is enhanced by the context and specifically the sounds heard while eating. We are also exploring the nature of enhancing the multisensory experience of walking through a museum and interacting with artworks.

The Thoth Deck 10 OF DISKS, is called the 10 of Pentacles or 10 of Coins, in traditional tarot decks. Crowley wished to show the stable motion that is required in a "Solid" world...the Spinning of a Disk. Where the Stability of a Discus is in its spin. I find this to be a brilliant insight (of which he had many) and agree with his philosophy. It is indeed the spiral "E-Motion" of our conscious self that balances our "Crystalline" outer Self; our life motion. For we are really "energy-in-motion".
THE 10 OF DISKS, is also called the Lord of Wealth and is Mercury in Virgo. The Angels associated with this Decan are Hahaayah and Laviah. Again, this is MALKUTH in ASSIAH which is the influence of the Virgin Malkuth in the Material world.
The Astrologers assign Mercury the God of commerce, as the ruler of the sign Virgo. Therefore, this placement is often called an embarras de richesses, as material gain here is so vast, that it often loses importance. This vast materiality is shown on the Thoth 10 of Disks, as the whole Tree of Life, of Ten Sephira, as Disks decorated with the various symbols of Mercury.
Truth, being, that the Whole Tree of Life is dedicated to this Manifested world; it is the Goal Achieved, by the Universal Collective Unconscious of the Divine Creative. Our purpose as physical Spirits and or operators of the masterpiece that the Human body, is to establish, the "As above, so below”, i.e. The Great Work.
As energy that is Spiral (spirit), we are "everywhere and nowhere" at the very moment of "I"; a kind of diffusion into eternity. But with a "God-Mind" controlled body- The Imagination,(image maker mind) I Am the ability to focus on one "moment" in the Time Space continuum, giving me not only the "sense of presence" but the ability to immediately discriminate my motion as information and/or in-form-action! In other words----"freedom of Choice" which simply means free to move by perspective/identity chosen and not “natural evolution”.
I find it very fulfilling to be able to have a "sense of presence", and move about sensually while also evolving self-awareness via perspective. To be able to do so is indeed a gift, an inheritance, and a Wealth which mere Ideas do not receive in the vast Mind of the Divine Collective.
It's time we realize that we are the "Sacred Place in Time Space"! We, as Spiral Entity (Spirits) have inherited the Earth, not because we are bad or lustful. We are the accumulated Wealth of Creation--made alive and sensual! The Divine Creative’s Self-Experience (Self Awareness) built us as a Solution not a problem! We solve the problem of how to focus intense energy (motion) to a point in time space, to nullify entropy and be able to deconstruct and reconstruct right at the time and place of "seeing an error"! The “I am” is the Image maker, who can recreate image by using our "Child of God" union card, I-Magi-Nation number "10"!
For those who don't know, 10 is 1+0=1, in Qabalistic gematria which simply means The First Sephiroth - Kether, the Tarot 0-Fool-The Above, that we bring to the below as Creative Self! In other words, we don't have a goal, we are the Goal; a bridge between the Creator and Creation! Therefore, we are Lust without the Need of result; being is the result of our Lust! Lust being the Divine Frenzy that is the rhythmic vibration in all things! Kether is known as Eheieh in Hebrew, which means "I Will Be". Hence, "I AM Being", is the fulfillment of this Primal Will. I AM Me- I AM We- all come from a expanded self-awareness. The wealth of Universal Knowledge.
Santa Muerte- 10 of Pentacles
The Advice of the Dead:
Aim what you have gained or earned in other directions, also, but evaluate every decision properly.
-From the Book of the Dead by Fabio Listrani
The Santa Muerte-10 of Pentacles shows a butterfly-Santa Muerte, flying above vine covered homes. This is material wealth vine covered and/or proceeding from order to disorder as does all things in this universe. The butterfly is a new freedom from the chrysalis of the past. Here it is implied that one's Psyche (Soul-Mind) is going into new areas of wealth, beyond that of physical wealth, thereby bringing abundance and fortune to new territories of self. Only the fear of letting go of life, and of a stable but past situation can create problems, uncertainties and disagreements. Hence, this card is comparable to the Thoth 10 of Disks card.
