Dreams of Gaia tarot- VI of water

The Dreams of Gaia Tarot- 6 of Water, represents the personality that is the epitome of kindness and concern and all that is good in humanity which is an ideal that many strive to meet. This is kindness but not to a fault. This card represents the special depth and concern that is demonstrably feminine. Her concern, and kindness are done with a level of detachment. After all, we must not interfere with another's ability to learn wisdom, which is 50% error and 50% correction. One must make their own mistakes, to receive their own wisdom. Therefore, she is ready to "teach one how to fish", rather than just give them one. Hence, she is giving, sympathetic and compassionate but not to the extent that she leaves none for herself, nor will she interfere with another's development.

Therefore, we have here a representation of the peaceful warrior who overcomes all obstacles with a determination that is free of aggression or intent to harm. She wins with a gentle smile or touch, a kind word, and a compassionate generous nature. Too many, this is an seemingly impossible ideal, many find themselves incapable of behaving this way all the time. However, the 6 of water reminds you to be just you and to treat others as you would be treated. The Golden rule needs to be the only rule.

When the 6 of Water is thrown in a divination, it implies:

  • The ideal of kindness & compassion.
  • See all that is good and pure in humanity.
  • Strive to be the best you that you can be today.
  • Embrace healthy boundaries.
  • Accept that you will falter. Just start over.
  • Overcome obstacles with gentle determination.
  • Do not meet aggression with aggression.
  • Be kind and walk away.

[From the Sepher Yetzirah and the Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom:]

In Kether is the Radix of a Golden Glory and thence is there a pure, primitive and sparkling, gleaming golden yellow which is reflected into Tiphareth. This is the first reflected Triad complete. And the sphere of its operation is that of Shemesh, the Solar Light, and bestoweth Life, Light and Brilliancy in metallic matter, and it rideth the sphere of action and of the Sun. And YHVH
Eloah va-Daath is a God of Knowledge and Wisdom, ruling over the Light of the Universe; and its Archangel is Raphael, the Prince of Brightness, Beauty and Life. And the Name of the Order of Angels is Melechim that is Kings or Angelic Kings, who are also called the Order of
Virtues, Angels and Rulers.

Thoth- 6 of cups-pleasure

The Thoth Tarot- 6 of Cups is the Lord of Pleasure. Here the Sun is in Scorpio the Angels of the Decan are Nelokhiel and Yeyayel.

The influence of the Solar Logos-Tiphareth, in the Mental World known to Qabalist as Briah.

Already we know that Tiphareth in Atziluth (Beauty in Pure Spirit) means Victory after effort, shown as the Six of Wands, thus we see the Six of Cups as Tiphareth in the Watery World, (Mental World) as the beginnings of Pleasure and/or the dripping of the "fiery dew" (Sanskrit- Ros or the soma of early shamans or yogis).

Noted to be the most powerful occult zodiac sign of all, as well as, a sign of discrimination, magnetism and hidden qualities. Scorpio, in the 6 of Cups, is like activated Water by Solar influx. Here, Scorpio revels in the Sun, and is likened to a Fertile, warm, fruitful Sea--a Spa of Life generating qualities. Being a Sun in Scorpio, and a Scorpio Natal, and having a Moon in Cancer, my inner self is a bright pleasure to my Watery World. Bacchus revels in my halls of hearth and heart as I live this card in a daily Glow of Bright Pleasure...thus I have no need to seek it-----I am it! And pleasure is a state of daily being me.

Of course, Scorpio may sting where the Will directs; However, when the Will resides in Beauty-Tiphareth, Love is the Willful view of life and the scorpion's sting is reserved for those who would demean life with vial actions. So as the Sun activates the Forces of Scorpio, gain or pleasure commences. Implied, without assurance, is that pleasure and gain will build as shown by the partially filled cups that leave room for more experiences. Hence, the beginning of pleasure.

Pleasure, being the natural title of this card, is not that of the mundane pleasures of the pain fleeing populace, but of the highest sense as the "adorable fire"; implying well-being, harmony of natural forces without effort or strain but with ease and satisfaction Yet it does emphatically represent the fulfillment of Sexual Will, as shown by the ruling 6th Sephiroth, Tiphareth, sign of Scorpio, Planet Sun, and element of Water. A communion of fertile forces, that makes all life possible. The person who experiences this card in sensual being, knows this as the sexual ecstasy of the Solar Logos that blazes as a Sun in the "Sexual Chakra" or Swadhisthana chakra...the orgasmic ecstasy that never stops. This is the state of the Highest of Sexual possibility, as in the union of Zeus Christos and the Mari, or of the Simon and the Helen, even of the Shakti and Shiva...where one knows God is Sex (Sex is 6 in Latin and sexen in Egyptian, denoting copulation). The perfect Pleasure of the synchronicity of communion, where the female and male blend as one Shining Star of Intelligent Vital Life Force. Interested students safely seeking this "burning ecstasy", should begin studying Tantric practices.

The biologist John N. Bleibtreu in 1968 stated that it becomes increasingly difficult to avoid the conclusion that "the substances controlling both its [ecsasy's] sexual and transcendental manifestations are probably manufactured in the pineal gland" (Blieibereau, p. 78).

Of course, this was well known long before Bleibtreu statements, as ancient shamans called this hormone from the Pineal Gland, the "soma" or the "nectar of ecstasy" which is known to Indian Adepts as the ros, or "fiery dew". Then there are certain Rosicrucian societies and those of the Taoist knowing this ecstasy as kan-lu or "golden nectar". This "golden nectar" is what Crowley implied with his 6 of Cups card. All of these names produce images of a certain fluid/energy that is thought to fill some secret cavern in the brain from whence it drips down into the body and aids in mystical illumination and achievement of longevity that is often connected to sexual exercises and/or erotic ecstasy that stimulate the Sahasrara Chakra* and/or the "Crown" chakra.

  1. Location of Sahasrara Chakra: at or above the top of the head.
  2. Endocrine gland:  pineal (3rd eye)
  3. Seed-syllable: om
  4. Color: pale purple.
  5. Lotus: thousand-petaled, rainbow.
  6. Associations: integration, liberation, cosmic consciousness.

We even find this "golden nectar" or "fiery dew" mentioned in the Christian Bible, and find it in King Solomon's grand poem of love where it says,"Open to me, my sister, my love, for my head is filled with dew" ( Song of Songs 5:2). Solomon was an early Qabalist (Kabbalist or Cabalist) who knew about the pineal and its secretions. Qabalistic initiates mention this crystalline dew and teach secret ways to draw it into the body, where it will benefit the man or woman who accomplishes this. Such teachings are given in the Book of Concealment that forms part of the Zohar, albeit, shrouded in somewhat mysterious language. Later, the Greek-Homer also refers to an "immortal fluid" that drips down from the back of the head and helps to attain longevity, a claim also made by Taoist masters about the "golden nectar", that they synthesize internally from the yin/yang essences and energies. Modern science concludes that the pineal gland not only has a connection with the onset of puberty but is apparently different in the 2 sexes, as it is larger in the female. To me, this corresponds with the Taoist and Tantric Initiates declaration that a woman's yin essence, aroused in erotic play, is much more abundant than a man's yang energy and is in fact regarded as inexhaustible. I Would suggest that one gets the book: The Encyclopedia of Erotic Wisdom by Rufus C. Camphausen for further investigation into the Magic stored in the homo sapiens sapiens body. After all, it is Spirit's Temple of Power on this earth! There are also certain Pranayama techniques that get one started on this journey of stimulation and illumination, in fact I teach one online (click on store-tarot pricing page of my website).
