The Dreams of Gaia Tarot-3 of Air, represents education. Education opens the mind to vast horizons.Life is an "education" in itself. The experience of living is just that, a Soul educating itself by performing what it "knows" as Self. This process is lengthy, for Self is a concept of infinite possibilities. Self-Awareness, requires one to not believe everything they think, but to analyse by action and observation, if what they are thinking is actually the idea they thought it was. Every experience offers us a lesson, be it a hurtful or joyful. Pain, is part of education, not because of punishment, no we are not punished by the Divine, it just tells us what is dysfunctional, so that we are not doomed to repeat a process that threatens life. Joy tells us what works and expands and liberates life from the past errors. Hence, we can determine what is right or wrong for ourselves.

Education expands our horizons and gives us a sense of freedom and new choices that we never knew we had and even a purpose we never considered. We begin in our societies schools, to learn our history, our culture and our language, allowing us to communicate and understand each other. And in the USA and many other forward thinking countries, libraries, and even the internet, allow us to go beyond the education of the schools, and begin the process of educating ourselves. We can learn about the universe we live in, and the wonder of one energy, that transforms through "Self-Awareness" and/or the observation of the "Inner Mind" and the "Outer World" and how they both enhance Self-Identity. The knowledge we learn by education, empowers us for as the more we know, the more we can accomplish.

Energy, is not aware of itself; However, energy that powers a sensual avatar, is! For senses, give us the ability to "see" what we are doing. Spirit has been constantly working on a more sensual, intimate body to power in its name, for the purpose of an education. It's name is I AM! The Avatar is known to each of us as a " Me". A body gives us a place to be, a point in time and a place to be and/or a point in time, gives a timeless one the ability to experiment with Self-Awareness. I AM ME, is another trinity, another *"Plane" that goes on for infinity but has no depth. However, that won't do for self-awareness, the Mind needs a "solid experience", the body is a solid, and therefore, has depth, which isn't infinite. Infinite can't be observed, nor can it educate, only a solid presence can be "felt" and/or experienced. The I Am... is infinite, no depth. The "Me", is a plane with depth.

Each of us may have infinite possibilities, but we can only experience what we "think" we are. Because of 3d depth, we can observe other than our solid self, but that "other" is subjected to our own interpretation of what "other is" and not what "other" thinks it is. Hence, the emotional hurt we feel, educates us on our error not on the truth of "other". Energy-in Motion, is emoting our self-identity on to or as "other". Expectations, placed on another as our joy-hope-our savior, a process created from our own perceived lack, once met, give us a sense of "achievement", no matter how false it is. Expectations not met, give us "hurt". Hurt, then is an education not a fault of "other" but an education in how we lessen ourselves, by giving an outside authority power over our identity. I AM ME, so we are lead inward by hurt, directing us to "know ourselves". Without "emotional" hurt, we could never heal our mis-identity. Just as without physical pain we could never identify what is wrong within the body and therefore, direct the forces of healing that are within the body awaiting the identification of hurt before they can act. We are Spirit, whose sovereignty is over the form we operate in the name of I AM. To give that sovereignty away, "hurts" us. Inner authority, must not have an "outer" authority, for if authority is outside the plane of Self, there is only "lack of self-awareness".

Infinite Spirit is Mind, as it loves to experience itself as a "me". Me, is an idea that comes from understanding the difference of "Other"-from the I (the All Seeing Eye) . I is an infinite plane, where Am gives the I depth and depth is called "Me". Other must be thought of by the I before it can exist. Existence is I AM. Hence, you are another way to be "Me" ( a depth of self /I Am), for there is only One Energy/Spirit, who cannot be created nor destroyed, only transformed.

"Another way to be me", is an understanding of the Collective that is Mind and the infinite possibilities of transformational thought. Being intimate with what is thought (the first material the Creative/Mind works with), gives each of us our own "depth" and/or senses of self, on the infinite plane of I and/or identity. Diversity then educates us by giving us a powerful sense of "Now" and Self. Hence, The Great Power of Limitation is Love! For we can only love "other". Self-love, is simply happily being "Me" and/or a harmony of Spirit-Mind-Body as -Self. But love of "other", is an awareness of the Energy in the Union of I AM ME and the expansiveness that such a combination of "Me's" give. Life expands itself through the union of diversities. I could go on and on about this, for it is infinite in possibilities, so it it enough to know, that you decide your own "depth" not anything outside the "plane of you".

Me is an intimacy with Self, when in union with "another way to be Me", a pleasure is felt. Pleasure tells us that this is harmony and not an error. However, union with other, is not permanent, as other and me will always expand beyond yesterday's, and sometimes at different "times" as we are all on our own "timeline" and/or life motion, that we call "education". Many times we will choose that inner depth of motion, and if mature (educated) not demand that "other" do so as well. Sadness, is a sense of lost connection.

When the 3 of Gaia is thrown during a divination, it implies:

• Time to expand your "mind".

• Learning transforms talents into skill. 
• Don't kill the messenger.
• Ignorance is nothing to be proud of. 

The 3's of Tarot belong to Binah who the 3rd Sephiroth and is called Understanding. She is also named the Sanctifying Intelligence and the Parent of Faith. Here is the implication that any religion of any sect, could not have a "church" without this underlying structure of Sanctifying Intelligence.

As Mary is the Church in Catholic doctrine, so is Binah the Parent of Faith, not the faith itself, but its parental intelligence that is the foundation of organization, structure and sanctity. She is the Will to Form, and your body is the "temple" of your spirit; a "Church of Faith" you wouldn't have without the Creatrix-Binah. Faith, happens because of Sorrow and is a gift from the Crone . For she must destroy in order to make new. However, faith assures us that the new shall come into manifestation and change all that was past.

You may ask, "What has this to do with sorrow?" To make this simple, she is the Crone in this card, and the Crone is the death of the “you” that you think you are, while the Mother is the Knowledge of Self that built you.

As the concept of Virgin, we have Binah as Priestess, as concept of Mother we have Binah as Empress Mother and here She is as the beginning of Crone which forms in Geburah.

Let me explain: many of us think that “freedom of choice" is happiness, but we forget that in order to have "freedom of choice", we must have a beginning and an end and/or measurement. As Spirit-Energy, we just Are, there is no up, no down, no in and no out; we just are a Plane of Energy. But as a Spirit who runs a material body, we have "depth" and therefore, we have the freedom to choose up, down, in or out. This freedom of psyche is really free-doom (Anglo-Saxon root word of freedom meaning,” I choose my own death”) for we also get to choose our body-death. Be it ignorant or intelligent choice, it is still the psyche’s choice. Measurement must end, and transforms to become "greater" by adding "sums" and/or union. The ability to feel/know measurement is called "intimacy". Therefore, freedom of choice comes with intimacy, for intimacy is Self-feeling Self which also brings great identities of intimacy such as sorrow and great joy, love and sadness etc. With the Divine Creative Mind of Imagination, this freedom also contains the burden of insanity when unbalanced by thinking that intimacy brings only pain. Again, we have bodies so that we may form the necessary "software", that is a discriminating and/or discerning personality. Spirit doesn't discriminate nor discern-----it just is "I"! I Am is the union of Spirit and Mind. The I AM ME is Spirit-Mind-Body, a trinity that makes its own "Plane" and therefore, discerns. Hence, each of us lives in our own observation .

As Mostafa Jahaladine Rumi, the twelfth century Sufi master and poet said about sorrow; "Sorrow prepares you for joy, it violently sweeps everything out of your house, so new joy can find a space to enter. It shakes the yellow leaves from the bough of your heart, so that fresh green leaves can grow in their place. It pulls up the rotten roots, so that new roots hidden beneath have room to grow. Whatever sorrow shakes from your heart, far better things will take their place."

What many of us forget, to be the Only One creates a process of awareness that One is all there is and One is alone, unable to share, to express to itself as “another”, or in any way able to define existence. The “I” needs the “Am”. Therefore, a great sorrow of loneliness was realized before the WILL TO FORM (“Am”-Binah who is understanding) was thought of and thus creating EXISTENCE.

This card is a 3, the number of the major arcana--Key/ATU 3- The Empress and to her the great Sorrow of the Mother is felt. For she has given birth to Beautiful Children who often think themselves into acting as Monsters. This hurts a loving mother. Also the fact that those beautiful children must end because to begin is to end. Because of the need to transform we know that sorrow arrives with every loving attachment in this world of matter. To receive is to lose. To begin is to end. To love is to expand and liberate the mind from the body, yet needing a body to be felt; the mind must return to sensuality in order to develop discriminating and/or discerning thought. Many of us know that to love is to end in loss...but we will love after loss anyway. Love is our nature to unite and loss, heralds the beginning of a new gain. This understanding, doesn't lessen sorrow, it just helps us move forward with tears running down our face. Thus there is strength gained in understanding sorrow, whereas, fear of sorrow weakens us and we become reactive and not active.

The 3 of Swords, is also called the Lord of Sorrow, so once again we get confused by sexual connotations. But energy is male in expression and female in reception. The Planet attributed to the 3 of Swords is Saturn in the sign of Libra. The Angels of the Decan are Hayayel and Hoquiam.

Here we have the influence of Binah in the Astral World of Yetzirah. The Power of Saturn is destructive and initiatory bringing a presence of pain and hardship as Saturn is also Chronos, “Grandfather Time”. But as we may know, hardship and suffering are often where we learn life's greatest lessons. So the Dark Sterile Mother, is not evil, she is a Sanctifying Intelligence. In the 3 of Swords, Saturn unbalances the Scales of Libra, in order that they may be rebalanced in an improved way. So the Crone is the perpetrator of "Tough Love, "and for a Mother having to use tough love to teach her beautiful vulnerable children, brings a sorrow as well and this is called the "Universal Melancholy". This is implied as the Rose of Five Petals illustrated in the Thoth Card. Her heart, if you will, is torn apart by the piercing of the 3 swords/3 dimensions. This card suggests the Dark Sea of Binah, a Womb of chaos, where things are deconstructed to be reconstructed as 3 dimensional forms.

When the 3 of Swords-Sorrow is thrown during a reading:

• The querent is experiencing thoughts of sorrow.
• Recurring thoughts of sorrowful past events.
• The sorrow of a triangular relationship that is out of balance.
• Disappointment and heartbreak.
•  A type of recognition where one must give up one thing to gain another.
• Releasing; a gift of sorrow, allowing the querent to release and let out the pent up stress of feared emotions.
• Here difficulty precedes power.
• Also, for initiates, who travel to the abyss, this sorrow is soul deep, for it is of the Sorrow of the Creatrix, who has to destroy her precious forms to rebuild anew, which will also happen to the personality that succeeds in traversing the Abyss.

When ill defined by the surrounding cards, Sorrow implies:

• Disruption. 
• Separation. 
• Estrangement.
• Self-delusion.
