tarot of the ages-key X-wheel of fortune

The Tarot of The Ages- Key 10-Wheel of Fortune, represents the Eternal Return; Sator arepo tenet opera rotas: " Every point is the center of the Universe." The truth of this statement is even more apparent when one considers the Physics fact that an Entity is considered a "point in time". Your body is an entity. Yes YOUR Body. This is because you are not a body, but a glowing light being, called a "Soul" and/or Solar Being. You are a collective of photonic microwaves that surround and enliven a "body", in your name. That name is "I AM"! How about that, you have the same name as the Greater Self, which is the I AM, a name often attributed to God/Divine Creative. You begin life as I AM and end the alive as I Am, for Life is what you are. You are not seeking a life, nor are you trying to avoid death. You the Alpha and Omega of entity. Life/Death, Time/Space, Cause/Effect and Self/Universe. All be the Self, and you be the smaller self of the Greater Self, and/or the microcosmic copy of the Macrocosmic Self. Life transforms itself by "death of the past" and experimenting with "self" as the now. Therefore, you are your Fortune or your Poverty. Remember your quantum physics which states that observation changes the observed. Truth is merely a statement of "I AM". So, let us experiment with an wealthy observation of most fortunate self: I Am the Will. I Am the Way. I Am the Wealth. I Am the Day!

Life/death, loss/gain. gain/loss, all are cycles of transformation and such is the wheel of fortune. Think ill, be ill. Think well, be well. Your decision, and no one is to blame for the state of life you present as you. So get some grit in your gut and Stand up and yell....I AM Good Enough for The Divine Creative, I Am good enough for me! Your universal wheel, is often called the Zodiac, as if you are totally subject to a previously designed concept of self. Not so, for the stars impel they do not compel. If you sit on your "fat astral" an let the outer world happen as your life, than to a zodiac you are inclined. But if you wrench your identity out of the outer chaos, and enclose it in your Will, you are the Divine Entity, who controls its time/space. Being you, is a powerful experience of creation. "I Am the intimate creator", says your Soul. For the Energy that is the Real You, is the Solar Soul, the "Golden Child", never identified by anything less than the "I AM". Any identity made by mankind's words, is a burial shroud, for you are not made of mankind. Mankind is your making! Either you listen to the chattering monkey that is words and thereby face the crocodile that eats your brain, or you are the mysterious sphinx that is the spinner of its own Wheel of Fortune. The Golden orb, with twin serpents of Ida Pingala Nadi of Anima(Spirit-Female)and Animus (Soul-Male)*. Each to themselves, are a trinity in one house. Spirit, Mind, Body, a Menage a Trois , "3 in a house" and that house is the homo sapiens sapiens.** The Spiral energy that is the Photon You-"The Light", is Female the receptor- birther, and the Soul, the Sun/Son of God, is the Male of you, the Expressor-Action. The body is how both-Anima and Animus, of you become intimate with each other. The Homo Sapiens Sapiens is the I AM's Honeymoon Suite, for in flesh do we form a cooperative universe of I AM ME!

*The Ida and Pingala Nadi alternatively take control of the circulation of the energy throughout the body. They are usually seen as referring to the two hemispheres of the brain. Ida, lunar nadi, corresponds to the right hemisphere of the brain. Pingala, solar nadi, corresponds to left hemisphere. Apr 4 2019

So I would suggest that you "Get over yourself and get on with YOU"! Shed the past, tell the "world " to Fuck off, and Be what you always were, a Powerful Light Being who makes flesh live. I AM Life! I AM Death! For Death is how I Transform myself, beit the small deaths of loss throughout the living journey or the fatal dropping of the organic form, that must return to where it came from, so that I can build yet another form of self-intimacy. Transformation, ends one form, in order to become another. In-Form-Action, is what the Light Being is all about. You are not form, you are the Formation of Self Identity and/or I AM. All is Self, and all you will ever know is self. All around you are "self-explanations", you may call these the "living things". Life is the Grand Collective of Self-Identity, some symbolize this collective as an "eye" and/or all seeing eye. One Eye is the One I, the one Identity that exists and causes all existence to be its name. I AM... from atomic particle to complex molecular structure- I AM. I Am Light, and do not seek what I already Am, for that would be like a fish swimming around in the ocean, looking for water. Above all things, know thyself! I Am my most Fortunate Self. For as I declare myself to be, I AM... is my Magic! No one else can declare the free, only the free can declare themselves. Slaves are declared by their fear of the master and therefore, slaves are the only ones who need saviors.

The Tarot of The Ages, Key 10, applies the zodiac sign of Virgo and the Hebrew letter Yod; together meaning virgin and hand. I is the Feminine whose hand (manipulation) is Am. Hence, Imagination manipulates matter. When this card shows up in a reading, it suggests it is time that you re-imagine yourself. For the I Am is the image maker. Therefore, the meanings applied to this Tarot of The Ages card is that same as the Thoth -Fortune card.

The Thoth Tarot-ATU 10- Fortune

The Tarot Key/ATU 10, WHEEL OF FORTUNE, or FORTUNE, is called the Path of Caph (meaning Fist) that runs from Chesed (mercy) to Netzach (Victory) on the Tree of Life. This path is on the side of the Tree of Life called The Pillar of Mercy, and connects the Personality to the Higher Self (all Sephiroth above Tiphareth are in the Higher Self). The Path of Caph, has a mediating function and the benevolent planet Jupiter is assigned to this Path. If you will look at the bottom of the Thoth -Fortune card, you will see both the Hebrew letter Caph and the sign of Jupiter. Jupiter, is also said to govern the flow of blood, thus reinforcing the mediating function of Caph.

The letter Caph, is a "double letter', meaning that it is a union of opposites, riches and poverty, which are the natural fluctuations of Jupiter's forces on this path. Since this Path is one of the "Gateways to the Soul", the riches and poverty here are of the Psyche itself.

The meaning of Caph (Kaph) is fist, and refers to a completion of an activity, such as, the closing of a circle or grasping comprehension.

This is a cycle, albeit a closed one, the Wheel of Fortune is considered a flow of Karma, which is a state of "you get what you put out". You believe you are it, therefore, you are it.

Contrary to many mundane interpretations, the Thoth Wheel, is not a roulette wheel of chance and accidents. It is more like a Native American Medicine Wheel. For in Qaballah, it is known that we are solely responsible for our own destinies which the words "freedom of choice” and "cause and effect” imply. The Wheel of Fortune supplies us with what we earn, which can be pleasant or unpleasant.

The interchange of opposites is what makes the wheel Spin, in the Tree of Life, we have, the Feminine 5th Sephiroth, Geburah, who is called Severity, and the masculine 4th Sephiroth Chesed-Mercy, interchanging their forces and form. This interchange of opposites, is shown by the 10 Spokes on the Thoth card, symbolizing the 10 Sephiroth on the Tree of Life which is a continuity of Force and Form, in equilibrium.

Gyroscope

A gyroscope (from Ancient Greek γῦρος gûros, "circle" and σκοπέω skopéō, "to look") is a device used for measuring or maintaining orientation and angular velocity. It is a spinning wheel or disc in which the axis of rotation (spin axis) is free to assume any orientation by itself. When rotating, the orientation of this axis is unaffected by tilting or rotation of the mounting, according to the conservation of angular momentum.

In his work, The Thirty-Two Paths of Wisdom, Dr. Paul Foster Case calls the Path of Caph, the Intelligence of Conciliation which would best be seen as a gyroscope, two wheels interlocking within each other, spinning in opposite directions., for this card represents the mediation of activity between rotating and/or moving opposites. The sense being that there is a cyclic and rhythmic motion of activity, as well as, cause and effect. The rotating force in your life, is what you identify yourself as. I Am begins the rotation, and what you think I AM is, is the spin axis of your life motion and/or "e-motion" (energy-in-motion). Sorry, but that pointing finger is a delusion, for no one is to blame for being a miserable, sad, and/or horrible you. Nor are they to blame for the great, beautiful, powerful, and creative you. That's all yours! It all begins in the "energy-in-motion". Life is energy-in-motion and you are that Energy! Spirit-Mind-Body. "3 in a house".

What is interesting here, is that on the Thoth Tarot Fortune Card, the Sphinx is seen as the stabilizing element in the midst of change and is positioned on top of the Wheel. The ancient Egyptians used the Sphinx image as the Pharaoh, usually vanquishing his enemies, with lion like power. Later on the Greeks, modified the Sphinx by illustrating it as a woman on a male lion's body. Thus, the Sphinx came to represent the union of mankind, with the raw power of the animal kingdom, and a balance of male ( Animus-electric) and female ( Anima-magnetic) in the same form. Again the union of opposites, is the birthplace of all Power. Therefore, the birthplace of your life motion is in the union of imagination (Female-Anima) and Rationale (Masculine Animus). Idea and ratioation.

The Qabalistic concept of the Sphinx is that it is the Synthesis of all Elemental Forces, much like the Pentagram symbol of Man, where the Spirit is the Fifth element above and added to the four elements of the animal kingdom. In fact, among the documents of the Enochian Mysteries of the Golden Dawn, the Sphinx has four forms, that of a Bull, Eagle, Man and Lion. These four faces are also described by Ezekiel in the Bible interpretation of his vision. The Wheel of Fortune, is the glyph of perpetual motion where the flying Eagle balances the Man; the roaring Lion counterpoises the laborious Bull.

As stated, the Sphinx represents the stabilizing element in the midst of change. It is both the balancing phase of cyclic energy and the guardian to the gateway of the Mysteries, holding the secret of life and death which is also attributed to the Triple goddess, the Three Fates (Past, Present and Future). Thus the Sphinx is a gate guardian of the Path of Caph (fist) as it is both that through which one passes in birth or death, and that which controls the passage, as does the Triple goddess.

Also, the Sphinx symbolizes the directing aspect of the Higher Self in Tiphareth ( Soul-Beauty) and being a Gatekeeper, it is protective and keeps the Personality from absorbing more force than its system can handle.

broken image

By correctly answering the question of the Sphinx, which is an extension of the Greek Axiom, Man, know thyself, implies that one is ready to pass through the gate of inner consciousness. As in the Oedipus legend, once correctly answered, the Sphinx throws itself back into the Sea which to a Qabalist means that the Gatekeeper is no longer needed and is reabsorbed into the vast Ocean of the Universal Collective Unconsciousness that created it. If the initiate can't answer the Sphinx's question, they are "slain", which is the protection part of the Sphinx, as it sends back those personalities that are unready to pass consciously beyond the restrictions of time/space.

The Thoth Card also illustrates a dog faced monkey, on the left side of the wheel which is in reference to the Plutonian, Cynocephalus. Cynocephalus is the not only the companion of Thoth but also the symbol of time and eternity. Thoth, being called the Lord of Holy Words, by the Ancient Greeks and Egyptians, is the inventor of writing and scribe for the Gods who records the results of the weighing of the Souls on the Path of Lamed (See the past blog on the Adjustment Card). Thoth is also said to divided time into months, seasons and years. Thus his companion is Cynocephalus, the symbol for time and eternity. In a "nutshell", the Words of Thoth are the vibratory patterns of thought that turn the Wheel of Fortune. Being quite esoteric here, the element of Fortune means that when the Higher Self, which brings the Elements under control, bestows upon the Personality that "knows itself", faithful companions that are the vibratory patterns that free the Personality from the General Wheel of Fortune and/or Karma that governs the "sleeping souls" who lack self-knowledge and believe themselves to be "words".

The Thoth Tarot- Key 10- Fortune card, depicts the interaction between the triple forces of the Sphinx, Hermanubis and Typhon. Hermanubis is a dual god, combining Horus and Anubis and is written as Heru-em-Anpu, meaning Horus as Anubis. Sword in hand, Heru-em-Anpu is often depicted in mythology as the slayer of Typhon, who is illustrated as a snake or crocodile. Typhon originally was of Greek origin and was involved in the wars of supremacy of the Gods. But as time develops the complexity of myths, Typhon became the dark aspect of Osiris known as Set. Hence, the combination of these symbols plays out the counter-changing influence of Light and Dark energy. In Quantum physics, Dark Energy is the Pushing Force, the "vibrations" that spins the universe and pushes it outward, this may cause one to wonder if "death" is the pushing force for Life.

broken image

In the Traditional Tarot depiction of the WHEEL OF FORTUNE, is often used the 3 Fates or Moerae (Greek), as the pushing force of the Great Cosmic Round. The Moerae where, Clotho the Spinner, Lachesis the Measurer and Atropos the Cutter of life's thread. One of the Tarot Card Deck that shows the Morae is The Spiral Tarot-Key 10 card's excellent medieval art, depicting Clotho spinning, Lachesis measuring and Atropos holding high her scissors. Around the three "darlings" spins the zodiacal Cosmic Round. Spirit-Mind-Body, are the 3 Darlings of Life.
