The Thoth, 6 of Wands is subtitled-VICTORY and is the Central Sephiroth of the Tree of Life known as Tiphareth-Beauty.It is the HuMan soul.

The Fire Element is the ruling element of the suit of Wands. Fire is ardor, as only Spirit can be.

The Key symbols relating to Tiphareth, Beauty;

1) the Cube, which is based on 6, a form taken twice-over in the double cube Altar of Malkuth.

2.) The Six-sided figure of the Truncated Pyramid (its top is cut off) that represents Adam Khadmon, the Ascended Man, the 6 lower Sephiroth. Adam Khadmon is the ascended man or Archetypal/Heavenly Human, above him, completing the Pyramid are the Supernal, Kether, Chokmah and Binah.

3.)Then, there is the Calvary cross, properly drawn as black, unequal armed, surrounded by a circle and mounted on three steps. This implies Wisdom through Sacrifice. The Rose cross and the Rose Cross Lamen, are the other powerful Tiphareth symbols.

THE 6'S, Represent definite accomplishment and carrying out of a matter.

In the world of quarreling and Strife, in the world of Yetzirah, strife brings success as victory. While, in Assiah, the world of business, and commerce among men, this means material success.

The 6 OF WANDS, is the Lord of Victory. Here Jupiter is in Leo, and the Angels of the Decan are: Nelokhiel and Yeyayel. Here, the soul has victory over the material world.

In the 6 of Wands we have the benevolence of Jupiter in the Fiery Sign of Leo (Sun) which brings success and warm relationships. However, it is an aspect that suggest some drama and of victory after great effort.

This Crowley-Harris card, shows the Wands of the Three Adepts (of Golden Dawn ritual) crossed in a perfect balance of power. As each Adept must go through initiations involving varying degrees of Strife, this card of Wands, suggests victory after strife.

the heavenly human

It is to be noted, that the upright Flames, lantern like at each crossing, are in a number of 9; the number of Yesod and the Moon. This shows energy stabilization of the Energy, and its reception and reflection by the Feminine Magnetic Principle. There is no circle around it, because it is self-supporting like the Sun. The soul/psyche is androgynous, and only "splits" into sexes of a species for the purpose of the polarity flow of male and female forces. Here, the 6, the number of the Sun/Son, triumphs over the separation of male and female, animus and anima, in the material form. In reality, 0=2. Meaning, that the Soul (an infinite Pi) is made of the balance of the Divine Androgynous Creative-born of the Priestess.

the tarot of the spirit-six of fire-glory

The Tarot of The Spirit- Six of Fire-Glory, also acknowledges the victory over the struggle to manifest. The Soul has won, and the "bloody fruit" of the physical form, now won, must be offered up to the Higher Self. As above, so below. Both the sigils/glyphs for Jupiter and Leo are shown bottom left and right on the "wand tree" of 6 fruits. This 6 bloody fruits, with central light, are offered up to the Higher Self, which is shown as a four colored diamond. The 5 of fire's volcano has become a rug of ascension...a flying carpet of ascension.

The four elements, the four colors, are illustrated as the 4 colored diamond shape. Hence, when looking at the diamond shape one is looking into the pyramid of the 4 pythagorean universal elements, filled with the light of one's own Higher Consciousness/Self. Again, Adam Khadmon, "The Heavenly HuMan" is displayed in an artful interpretation of this card's divination. We have all inherited our "Heavenly" consciousness, we die in the world of the Patriarch and arise in the realization of Horus, the Sun/Son, that is our true solar self. We adopted earth, we are not from it. Hu=Mandarin word-meaning God, and Man=Hindu root word for mind-Manas. Hence, we are the "god-mind" that came to earth and adopted the homo sapiens sapiens form as our own "intimacy" with the 4 worlds of the 4 elements. The Six of Fire acknowledges the soul's victory over the "survival mind" of the body. Where fear is no longer the fulcrum that 4 elemental self- consciousness is balanced on, but rather the pyramid of the Higher Self, who knows all things, as Self. Hence, the love of being and not the fear of being. I AM Horus.

When the 6 of Wands or Six of Fire card is thrown during a reading the Querent:

  • Is assured of victory, but victory only comes after a struggle so don't celebrate prematurely.
  • There is implied a short lived victory with all blockages overcome but by trusting the Stability of the Higher Self, the Victory isn't always long lasting.
  • Confidence and belief in yourself are the necessary tools here and it looks like they have been achieved with some major breakthrough in insight and creativity happening in the next 6 days or weeks.
  • The querent is showing secure knowledge of self-identity and displays self confidence in leadership abilities.
  • Emotional warmth.
  • Sunny disposition.

If ill defined by surrounding cards:

  • Presumption.
  • Excess of emotion.
  • A personality cult (egotism).
