The Dreams Of Gaia Tarot- 4 of Fire, represents the focused mind, emotion and deliberate action , that once applied, kick starts any project into a positive momentum. Like the Dreams of Gaia archer, it requires both skill and accuracy and establishing a work ethic that applies both. It takes about 10 years of hard training to make a good, accurate archer, and everything worth doing, requires a focused mind, powerfully focused emotion and accelerated action. Emotion is Energy-in-Motion, and like the arrow, needs a focused mind, a self-confident "I" and a clearly seen target. A good archer, never lets distractions interfere with his/her focus on the target. For anyone, applying devotion to regular time and energy for repeated practice and application, there will be an increase in skill and ability and, in doing so there will be more confident actions and therefore, faster completion. As the old saying goes, "Practice makes perfect", implying that with much practice the skill and actions become as automatic as breathing.
Homo Sapiens Sapiens are not born with survival skills, like the animal of the forest, prairie and desert. Because of the special make-up of our large brain, and the fact that we are of an alien and Teran DNA mix, we must be willing and prepared to learn in order to survive. Unlike wild animals, we even have to learn to walk. We have a long period with our parents and mentors, who take on the task of our learning and preparation, because it takes about 17 to 21 years for our brains to fully develop. Spirit is will, so it takes a strong soul connection to install the Willingness to learn and prepare skills. We are not an "artificial intelligence", which just expresses a software program, we have to learn through repetition and practice with intent focus and don't become great in our skill unless we have completely and competently focused, Spirit-Mind-Body, as one great Creative.
The Archer illustrated on the Dreams of Gaia-4 of Fire, besides being depicted as fire itself, is also wearing a hawk helm made of fire. In Egyptian Thoth Tarot, that would be Horus, the 22nd Century human intelligence. Horus, is the "new son/sun/soul" of the Divine Creative. One whose identity is not indoctrinated by the Patriarchy, but whose total focus and emotion is on I AM Being; for Being is the Will of the One. Hence, this one whose identity is not confused by dogma, nor the propaganda that are words, but rather "Above all things, knows itself". Horus knows that energy-in-motion (emotion), is under the control of the Mind and the Will, for they are the focused expression of creation. No one can play with this one's emotions, for they are not under any "outside" authority.
When the Dreams of Gaia 4 of Fire is thrown in a divination, it implies:
- Focused mind, emotion and deliberate action.
- Creating impetus and momentum.
- Establish a good work ethic.
- Establish a creative process.
- Devote time to regular practice.
- Be willing and prepared.
- Pay your dues.
- Something is falling short of its target.
The Thoth 4 of Wands Represents-Completion.
For those who aren't familiar with spirit, and the Sexual Self, they are one and the same. Spirit is the fiery creative energy of Sex, passion, ardor, assertiveness. Willfulness etc. It is the Will to Be. Therefore, all being comes from a sexual act. The union of atoms comes from force and form getting together as Electric male energy and Magnetic female energy. Also the wholeness, health and wealth of being comes from the union of male and female, Force and Form.
To separate spirit from sexuality is pure ignorance based on fear producing divisionism and falsehoods that create dysfunction and greatly confused and docile slaves.
To repeat, Chesed, the 4nd Sephiroth is both Will to Force and Mercy. He is known in Qabalah as the Demiurge or "Lesser Creator" and gives rise to "form and light". This also makes Chesed both masculine and feminine, as the She and He of energy are never separated, as Light is the expression of masculine and form is the from the receptivity of the Feminine, who Understands data and therefore, creates in-form-action and/or Understands information and shapes light into forms. Thus, Chesed and his opposite-Geburah are really "two sides to one coin". So here we compare Chesed -Mercy and Geburah-Severity or Strength, to the two arms of a human, as one gives and one takes away.
The 4 Fours of Tarot, bring perfection, realization, completion, and making a matter settled and fixed.
The 4 of Wands and 4 of Fire are no exception, for here is the Lord of Perfected Work. Attributed to the 4 of Wands-Completion, is the planet Venus in the sign of Aries. As symbols of a War god and the most beautiful goddess, they are the married couple of Mythology. The angels of the Decan are Nanael and Nithal.
The 4 of Wands is Chesed influencing the realm of Atziluth; the Realm of Pure Spirit.
The swift active force of Aries- Mars, is activating the Love and Luxury of Venus. This placement in an astrological reading would be implying a warm, brief romance, or warm fleeting feelings. But in Tarot, we must be aware of the Placement on the Tree of Life. There is a combination of the zodiacal and the Sephirotic meanings to consider.
It is necessary to realize that the zodiac is the mundane or root Chakra of Chokma and is called Chesed, as it appears in the lowest of 4 Qabalistic Worlds-Chesed in Assiah-the active world. Thus, the 4's represent the Totality of that which the planetary signs refer.
Venus in Aries, being the outer attribute of the card while the inner attribute is Chesed forces, the pure four (Fire, Air, Water, Earth), in the world of Yod-Fire. So what we have in the 4 of Wands is Completion of the process initiated by the Upper Trinity, or Supernal Triangle. Here, the manifestation promised by "Will to Form" (Binah) has taken place in Jupiter-Chesed; The Father who resides below the Abyss. Thus, this is a dominating influence on all the following cards,(5-10) as it is the highest idea that can be understood intellectually of the element it represents.
Chesed is the Demiurge, who is the First Sephiroth below the Abyss, making him the Lord of all Manifested Active Power. The original will of Chokmah- Wisdom and Binah-Understanding is now manifest in the Serphiroth- Chesed- Mercy and is now a solid system such as; Order, Measurement, Law and Government.
Venus in Aries, also removes some of the volcanism of Aries-Mars, and indicates that one can't establish one's work without tact and gentleness.
When examining The 4 of Wands-Completion, we see the wands headed by Rams, both signs of Chesed (Father-God Amoun-Ra) and Aries, ending in the Dove of Venus. The completed motion and limitation of the original work is shown by the yellow rimmed circle. To show balance, the 4 flames are doubled, suggesting the feminine and masculine balance of the 4's. Also being a 4, there is no attempt to expand, the original will is complete, and so entropy will soon begin. From order to disorder, is the flow of energy in this universe.
When the 4 of Wands or 4 of Fire is thrown during a reading:
- It is the key to spiritual and holistic completion.
- It suggests that the querent is experiencing the completion of something and experiencing the desire to begin something new.
- The Four of Wands also implies that ideas are firmly established and proved by their flourishing and it is time to move forward.
- The querent is manifesting a new destiny by acting on a sense of direction, supplied by inner Self Knowledge that is forming a new identity.
- Here we see celebration and reward after laborious completion of an enterprise,
When ill defined by the surrounding cards:
- Overestimation of one's self.
- Blasphemy (irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable, such as the sacrament of being)
