Kether is the Crown, the Observer, the Dark Energy, that is. It is the Unknowable God of many religions, and yet as many of us know, religion is not the Divine Creative, but man's defense against the knowledge of it. Kether is the Idea of the Big Bang, the point, the Singularity. The Aces are also essences, so they too are not easily explained. However, they can be compared to the "seeds" of the element of suit.

The Druid Craft Tarot, displays a wand of white willow (trees shown at right of card), whose end is shown as a Celtic spiral of infinity. With its tip into the Sun, implying it is of Solar Power. A great stag stands on a promontory of stone, while staring up at the glowing wand.

The Willow Tree, was considered by Churchmen, to be a tree of Satanic nature, for they claimed that "daughter of Satan"/Witches, go to the willow tree to forswear god; that willows beget serpents, and that willows are the devil's tree, planted by streams to lure men to a water grave. All these notorious descriptions of the Willow Tree, are because of the pagan Goddess connection to these trees. Willow wands were use for divination by the hermaphroditic Scythian Priests called, Ennarees, named after the goddess Inara, as this goddess was called in several Indo-European and Hittite tongues. The Greeks knew her as Helice, meaning "Willow". To the Greeks, Helice, was the virgin form of Hecate, that guarded the Mount Helicon, the home of the Muses. Her willow wand was connected to the Stars, as the pole circling constellation of Ursa Major was known as Helice's Axel [Lindsay, 251].

White willow bark, is also a noted pagan pain releaver, and one of the oldest major pain-releaving chemicals from this bark, is salicylic acid, known to us moderns as aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). We owe our thanks to the witches who never forgot their Goddess-inspired remedy.

The Willow was sacred to the Goddess, Arianrhod, in Celtic tradition and was called the letter S, saille, in the tree alphabet.

By using the White Willow wand/rod, the Druid Craft Tarot is implying the link of the Moon Goddess, to the Phallic Sun-God. To reinforce this symbolism: The Stag, is an old symbol for fertility and fecundness of the forest, and one of the earliest symbols of the Horned God as a sacrificial consort of the Goddess of Woodland Creatures. Horned animals, especially Stags were associated with the male phallus and phallic amulets were often carved of stag horn.

The Four Aces are related to the 1st Sephiroth, Kether, thus they are representative of the Pure Forms of Energy that are elaborated by the other cards of the Tarot Deck and/or Sephiroth. The consecutive elaboration of the numbers, are forces being woven together to form the harmonic-spiral fractal that is the World and Universe; a World that is 96% invisible to us. However, by combining the colors of the visible spectrum of electromagnetic light, we see that different combinations, make different color changes, such as blue combined with red makes purple, etc. This combination is the necessary diversity of creation and on an infinite scale, can be called harmonies of Spirit and/or Souls. To a Qabalist, the numbered Sephiroth are either Force or Form and sometimes both in union depending on the Masculine expressive and female receptive aspects of a particular Sephiroth.

Each Ace is unique and is distinct in its degree of density and in its ability to do work as a specific function of the One Energy. Thus, each Ace is the Seed of an Alchemical Element. We think we know what seeds are, but when we look at one, we don't see the Tree it represents. We just "kind of" know the pattern of the Tree is in there. That is also our conceptions of Kether, we just "kind of Know" that it is infinite, but then infinite is a human concept and Kether can't be known...so this gets a bit tricky. Obviously open mindedness is required and the courage to keep asking questions until answers emerge. The Influence of Kether is all around us, as "all the power that is and ever will be", we just have to trust it knows us even if we know it or not. Obviously we exist, and we are a combination of many factors, some if not most, unknown to us, so it is easy to trust the subtle world of Spirit. All in all, from Knowledge each of us was born, and that knowledge is ours to understand as experience.

The Ace of Wands represents the outpouring of energy in the Universe, It is the root of the Powers of Fire and is the influence of Kether (Dark energy) on the level of pure Spirit. It is represented as the Hebrew letter Yod. Yod is related to Kether, not only is it isolated and self-contained but it is also the formative graphic root for all other letters of the Hebrew Alphabet. Moreover, the Yod is Phallic. It is the Male-Fire (electric) that rushes out toward the Female-Water (Magnetic). Hence, the Ace of Wands represents the Force of Spirit as the Element of Fire. It is the Radical or Root Force of the Fiery Motion that Moves all things. To those of us who need a pattern, the Four Aces are said to be placed at the North Pole of the Universe, where they revolve and govern the revolution of the Universe. To a Qabalist the Four Aces are the connecting link between Yetzirah (Formative World) and the Material plane.

The Thoth Deck Ace of Wands shows Ten Yods emanating from a primitive burning club. This represents the Primal force behind the entire Tree of Life that is composed of 10 Sephiroth and their connecting paths of energy transference. The entire Tree is a glyph of the Power of Fire, i.e. of Spirit. The scholarly student of Qabalah will find that the letter, Shin (Maternal Fire) and Yod are often used interchangeably when referring to the Tree of Life.

Besides being a practicing Qabalist, I am also a practicing Tantric in the techniques of Yoga. To me and all those of a higher state of mind, the human body is a "God body", that is of a Genetic Modification Body of Alien and Earth DNA and the "Angels that fell to earth" and/or the Sumerian Annunaki ("those who from the sky came") were practicing Tantra which is a Sanskrit word that means to "expand and liberate". The human form is sacred and sanctified by the Cosmic and Galactic, Creator and Creatrix and part of that sacredness is the sacrament of Holy Communion and/or sexual union which is an action of Spirit! For to mix DNA, is an action of "expansion and liberation", a transformative process of energy and the diversity of life. It is Magick in a living form of two who must become one to flow in transformational power. I am of the opinion, along with many other intelligentsia, that there is no shame in being a human, or that a soul who owns one by giving it life, should not in any way be embarrassed for doing so!

To make alive such a being is a high honor to any Spirit-Being, be they extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional, or otherwise! The ancients always put wings on those beings who came from the sky and if you have any mind at all, that would be from Space, be it dimensional, or otherwise. Even the Sphinx had wings, which means, that its message of "Man know thyself" has very special meaning.

I've who am Psyche, an alien mind to this earth instinctual mind, have spent this life (and many others) learning the powerful purpose of having a human form as my power tool, not only because I was curious why those who rule us, wish us to reject it's divinity (Divide and conquer) and persecute those who refuse to lessen themselves, but also because Evolution Wants To Be Human! In fact the very name Hu-man is God-mind, as Hu is a Chinese-Mandarin word for God and man comes from the Hindu word Manas, meaning Mind.

If you can imagine beyond yourself, i.e., Other, you have a god mind!

Alchemical inner Fire controls creativity, desire, passion, ambition and the satisfaction there of. For it is the Fiery Spirit in all of us that we've inherited from the Solar Logos of Galactic Central, as "Divine Frenzy" or Lust of the Divine Creative to Be; to be, as the very name of Kether is Eheieh, in Hebrew, which means, "I Will Be"!

Fire as passion, can be ill defined and become that which seeks the perverse or transgressions.

On the Qabalistic Tree of: Life, Kether is the Crown, the Observer, the Dark Energy, that is. It is the Unknowable God of many religions, an unlimited movement of light, albeit dark light "so bright no man can see it", which is infinite light and yet as many of us know, religion is not God but rather man's attempt at controlling god. Kether is the Idea of the Big Bang, the point, the Singularity.

The Aces are also essences, so they too are not easily explained for we may see a seed, but its essence is invisible to us.

The Four Aces are related to Kether, thus they are representative of the Pure Forms of Energy that are elaborated by the other cards of the Tarot Deck and/or Sephiroth.

The consecutive elaboration of the Numbers, are Forces being woven together to form the Harmonic that is the World. A World that is 99% invisible to us. However, by combining the colors of the visible spectrum of electromagnetic light, we see that different combinations, make different color changes, such as blue combined with red makes purple, etc. These combinations are the necessary diversity of creation, as well as transformative and can be called harmonies or the “spiral Sex action of Spirit”. In Qaballah, the world we see, is the 1% world.

To reiterate:

The Ace of Wands represents the outpouring of energy in the Universe, It is the root of the Powers of Fire and is the influence of Kether (Dark energy in motion) on the level of pure Spirit.

The Thoth Deck Ace of Wands shows Ten Yods emanating from a primitive burning club (fiery phallus).
